ACAW 2026 is South Australia's inaugural community-led climate action week. From 27 July to 2 August, we'll fill Adelaide with conversations, gatherings, art, science, ceremony, ideas and action; one state showing up for our planet.

Volunteer
ACAW is entirely volunteer-powered. Every person who puts their hand up makes this week possible — and there's genuinely something for everyone, whether you can give a single afternoon or want to be involved from now through August.
This is your chance to be part of South Australia's first climate action week, build real skills, and connect with the people shaping SA's climate future.

Ways to Get Involved
In the lead-up
Join a project team working remotely and flexibly to help build the festival — communications, community outreach, programme coordination, design, partnerships and more. Teams are coordinated through our ACAW volunteer community.
During the week (27 Jul – 2 Aug)
On-the-ground support at flagship events and across the programme — front-of-house, social media and PR capture, community support and general event operations.
